An intuitive app for finance customers to update and pay off their loans
The Avanti Customer App is a mobile application designed to enhance the customer experience for Avanti's clients. I was tasked with modernising the app's user interface and improving its overall usability. The project involved conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and developing a comprehensive design system. I also worked on implementing the design in the development environment, ensuring that it was responsive and performed well under various conditions.

Defining the sitemap
Before jumping into wireframes, I mapped out the full structure of the app to establish a clear information architecture. This sitemap helped align stakeholders on scope early, and gave me a solid foundation to build user flows from. By laying out every screen and its relationship to others, I could identify redundancies and ensure the navigation felt logical for customers managing their loans day-to-day.
From sketch to prototype
The wireframe stage was crucial in shaping the overall structure and functionality of the app. I created multiple iterations of the wireframes, each time refining the layout and user flow based on feedback from stakeholders and users. This iterative process allowed me to identify and address potential usability issues early on, ensuring that the final design would meet the needs of Avanti's customers.
Designing for all screen sizes
The Avanti App is built to be used on iOS, Android or viewed on the web. Using Figma, I created a variety of components and layouts that would work across different screen sizes and orientations, ensuring a seamless user experience regardless of the device being used.
Designing the marketing website
In addition to the app design, I also worked on creating a marketing website for Avanti. This involved designing a visually appealing and informative site that would effectively communicate the benefits of the app to potential users. I focused on creating a clean and modern design that would align with the overall branding of Avanti, while also ensuring that the website was easy to navigate and provided all the necessary information about the app's features and benefits.
